The following institutions, who are the core of the eLene consortium, were used as case studies by PLS Ramboll [www.ramboll.com] for the report entitled "Studies in the Context of the E-learning Initiative: Virtual Models of European Universities (Lot 1) Final Report to the EU Commission, DG Education & Culture": the initiative was adopted by the European Commission on 24 May 2000 and is part of the eEurope Action Plan, whose aim is to encourage Europe to exploit its strengths and overcome the barriers that are holding back the uptake of digital technologies.

The eLene TT Centre has arrived!
We are proud to announce the launch of the eLene Teacher Training
Centre.
Presented for the first time in public on October 25th at the
international congress TICE 2006 in Toulouse, France, this one-stop
centre for teachers and teacher trainers contains a range of guidelines,
tools and materials for teacher training in the innovative use of ICT.
